Akuma

New to the franchise, Akuma comes from the 2D fighting realm of Street Fighter. Akuma is known for his aggressive playstyle, 50/50 situations, heavy whiff punishment, and very high combo damage being his most notable feature. Since coming to the 3D environment of Tekken, his fireball and shoryuken are not as reliable since they can now be stepped or walked in either direction. Akuma is also one of three 2D styled fighters. One is Geese Howard from SNK's Fatal Fury: King of Fighters (1991) and the other being an original character named Eliza, who made her debut in Tekken Revolution (2013).

Key Moves

1. This move showcases a good low that can be used to start your offense followed by a fireball. When hit cleanly at close range, both hits are guaranteed.

2. This simple one two punch is his basic 10 frame punisher.

3. This move is called Focus Attack. It is one of his combo starters and armor move; it can be cancelled by tapping back twice or forward twice, dashing in the respective direction.
