Skills

Armor King

A mysterious character making his debut in Tekken 1 (1994) differing from the Armor King that we know now; has been in every Tekken installment except Tekken 3 and Tekken 4. Armor King has a very simple and straight-forward playstyle, meaning he does not extensively rely on excessive 50/50s, unlike his partner and rival, King. Instead, Armor King focuses on pokes and momentum. Although he has great poking tools, he is very limited in the options he can use to effectively open up an opponent. Therefore, causing the player to rely greatly on their knowledge of the games' fundamentals and matchup experience.

Key Moves

1. This move is great when used properly at the wall because it will wallsplat the opponent; allowing for more damage to be dealt and is a good whiff punishment tool.

2. This is his key i12 frame punisher.

3. This set features three of his best pokes to chip away at the opponent.

4. When used properly, this move allows for a guaranteed follow-up when successfully landed.

5. One of his best and deadliest throw known as "Giant Swing", he can change the tide of a match with this throw and deals massive damage if thrown into a wall. It also has an airborne extension that grabs them from the air while switching sides

6. Another great throw known as "Shining Wizard", this is a command that has to be done while running or can be done instantly (as shown) with tighter execution. Animation is changed if performed on an ariborne opponent.

6. These two moves ("Dark upper" given in older games and his hopkick) are iconic to Armor King, as they are his two main launchers.
