Gigas

A new addition to the series, Gigas is a mutant spawned from G-Corp's experimentation who is also the father of Katarina. He's a big character that has a heavy hitting style, often putting his whole body behind his blows. He has a tremendous amount of range from most of his mid and high moves, allowing him to punish moves on block that most characters wouldn't be able to due to pushback. He also has a good rage drive that leaves your opponent in a 50/50 situation where one option is an unblockable, and the rage drive itself induces a stagger animation on the opponent.

Key Moves

1. His -10 to -14 frame punisher and is arguably one of the best punishers within the game due to its frames, damage, and range.

2. Although unsafe, this is his best whiff punisher due to the range at which it can hit and the huge amount of pushback on block.

3. A huge mid shoulder that gives huge amount of plus on block, great for pressure near the wall.

4. His rage drive causes the opponent to stagger, allowing an opportunity to mix up the opponent with a mid option ("1"), an unblockable option ("2"), or a slower mid option ("1+2") not featured in video.

5. His i15 launcher that is -14 on block often used as to whiff punish.

6. A good low poke with an overhead mid extension leaving him -12 on block but becomes a natural sequence on counter hit.

7. Although a launch punishable on block, this move is a fairly quick low that deals high damage and also has options for follow ups on counter hit.
