Kazuya Mishima

Another original Tekken character from the first Tekken (1994) and main character of the series, Kazuya has been in every installment except Tekken 3 (1997) and head of G-Corporation. Relationships with Kazuya have not always been the best with his father, Heihachi Mishima, his wife Jun Kazama, and his son Jin Kazama, his half-brother Lars Alexandersson and adoptive brother Lee Chaolan. Kazuya also possesses the Devil Gene and can change into the form in gameplay after activating rage drive. Kazuya is the definition of a Mishima character with a multitude of tools for many situations. He also requires high execution just like Heihachi.

Key Moves

1. Greatly buffed in season 4, this kick now hits grounded from all angles and is a great low to mixup opponents.

2. A fantastic punisher given to Mishima style characters. This move is better when hit confirmed as it can be launched punished if blocked.

3. A move that can't be punished on blocked and is good for checking a crouching or a grounded opponent. When landed on Counter Hit, it will grant you the opportunity for a combo.

4. A good tool to stop a stepping opponent and will crumple stun on counter hit leading to a potential combo.

5. A very useful move to check crouching opponents and generally apply pressure.

6. A naturally evasive move that allows for a combo on normal hit.

7. A great pressure tool and allows for a wallsplat to combo.

8. A scary move to defend against with its increased tracking in season 4, this move will allow for a wall combo if hit from the correct angle.

9. Like every Mishima, Kazuya is equipped with his very own powerful electric; which is great for whiff and block punishing.
